Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the best part?
Parents.
They can be good for SOME things.
Like the fact that they both work for Amtrak, so when I go on trains?
Free tickets, usually.
Sooooooooooooooo
Longer travel time.
But, last year, I did the following:
Train from Wilmington, Delaware to Washington, D.C., take D.C. metro to airport, fly from there to O’Hare, then take the El to Evanston.
THIS time? Train from Wilmington to D.C., train from D.C. to Chicago, take the El.
The difference in travel time is that it takes 6 more hours by train but Bekky and I are used to them and Charlie is going NUTS with joy because he likes them
Aaaaaand Tiger and Min just asked Alastar if he’d ever been on a train and dragged his pious arse outta the Chapel and to the Cockpit so he could look out the window.
So yep :3 
Gonna enjoy this vacation. Yes yes.

And Alastar made me eat potatoes and crackers and then I felt better
I also had Vernor’s. Mum brought it to me. I took one sip after she said she got me ginger ale and then I went O_O this is the good stuff yesssssssssssss
I’m going to have one hell of a hangover tomorrow though XD

Rini’s father was harping on her about school again.
Because, you know, they were oh so hopeful when they kicked her out at 19 and made her pay for everything on her own from that point.
Don’t tell her to finish school when she’s already upset about it because she can’t support herself and she’s more concerned about food in her mouth and a roof over her head first. And then you offer her alcohol after you build up her anxiety so high you wake up half of her headmates?
Jerk.

I hate it for you all. It seems to be all too common these days, but every story is different and horrible. I just don’t understand, it’s like the generation before ours just all said, hey, we wanna create an entire generation of screwed up abused kids.

Anyway, I’m glad you made it through it, and never give up. As long as you have friends and willpower you’ll make it. And with all the headmates you have an amazing bunch of friends.

Mama B/Bridget/Red is Rini’s best friend, but a lot of us have gotten closer to her since we revealed ourselves.

Not only is she a fantastic person, but she makes us feel like people
Not that other people don’t but … she puts in so much effort
She remembers all of our names and not only that, but she has pet names for almost all of us - she calls Tucker baobei and Min meimei and Gent sweetpea and Alastar ami etc and that makes us feel really, really good.

And she does so much for us, and it’s amazing. We love her.
The other day, she rubbed our back (more than once this week, actually)
…aaaaaaaaaaand omg, it helped so much - between Tucker’s wings, Gent’s scar, and Min’s lower back all being wonky, it felt a lot better.
And she talks to us all the time, gives us advice, comes and hugs us when she can, etc. And she hugs all of us differently.

She’s an amazing, wonderful, loving, caring person and we’re so glad we have her in our lives.
We just wanted her to know how much we love her and appreciate her presence in our lives.

Wow, she sounds like an awesome friend. We have the same thing with some of us having wings, others having scars that the body doesn’t have, etc. Being treated like different people is truly amazing, so I’m glad you have a friend who does.

Tucker’s the only one of us with wings, and it was a recent thing, and Gent has a scar on her right shoulder blade, but where she comes from, she calls shoulder blades “wings”. (So, there’s another flip, B!) So their right wing is always the one that hurts.
So, yeah. She’s amazing. ^^
